The Beginning
It all began with a chai date — the kind that was supposed to last 15 minutes but somehow stretched into 3 magical hours. Apoorva arrived fashionably 3.5 minutes late; Deepak walked in with a soft smile and calm charm. Phones were forgotten, laughter filled the air, and the two realized that something rare had begun to unfold. There was only one small hiccup: she was a proud Manchester United fan, and he, a die-hard Liverpool supporter. A handshake sealed the deal — they would never, ever support the same team in any sport. (Yes, that includes RCB vs. MI, Mercedes vs. Ferrari..)
Snow & Mountains
Their next adventure came wrapped in snow — quite literally. Deepak whisked Apoorva away on her very first ski trip, teaching her the art of "pizzas and fries." She was enchanted — not just by the mountains, but by his effortless planning and the fairytale backdrop that made the moment feel like a "smooth-operation".
The Marathon
This time, Apoorva took the lead. She planned a surprise trip to Budapest — her favorite city — and crafted a memorable poster to cheer Deepak on during his first half-marathon. As he crossed the finish line, awe-struck and overwhelmed, Deepak knew one thing for sure: she was the one.
The Proposal
Music, laughter, and pure joy followed them into May. Apoorva booked a Mark Ambor concert, and together they sang, danced, and got lost in the moment. The next day, Deepak had plans of his own. On a rainy hike in the German Alps — with help from his friends, he got down on one knee. "Can I be your second love?" he asked, knowing that the mountains would always hold her first. Her answer, of course, was yes.
Engagement Celebration
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Deepak and Apoorva celebrated their engagement at home — an evening filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and the warm promise of a forever that had already begun.
The Surprise
Fast forward to Budapest again — because some cities are just too special to visit once. F1 tickets had sold out months in advance, and Deepak, claiming "work reasons," had to miss the trip. Or so Apoorva thought. As the cars roared past and the crowd cheered, a familiar face appeared out of nowhere — her very own "sly thief" who once again swept her off her feet.
The Road Trip
Their story hit the open road — a road trip through the Baltics, their first long vacation together. They drove till their hearts were full (and occasionally, almost stopped — for those who know Apoorva's driving skills). It was chaotic, beautiful, and perfectly them.
